I awoke bright and early on saturday, more eager then Christmas morning to get up and start drinking with my friends. Any sort of hangover that was a result of Friday night's debauchery at the Ceeps was quickly forgotten about, in anticipation of the days events. We hopped from kegger to street party to kegger with glee, running into new and old friends at each stop. Just incredible.

The purple was out in full force. The Western women seem to love the opportunity to raid the arts & crafts supplies of the local daycare. No marker, sparkle or crazy cutting scissor was spared as special outfits were crafted. I was rocking my Western Homecoming 2009 shirt - the one that says "We still have one" on the back (Deal with it Queens). My buddy from Queens commerce who was down, actually loved it.
London Police were out in full force this weekend. I, of course had the pleasure of running into them Saturday night. Me being the obnoxious drunk that I am, quickly challenged the officer after being told to leave the house party I was at. I think it played out something like this:
officer: You need to leave now, walk to richmond and get a cab there
me: Or else what, you'll arrest me
Officer: yeah - definitely.
me: what for!
Officer: Public drunkeness.
me: I'm not drunk - breathalyze me. You'll see.
Officer: you want to be in the back of my car?
My friends: Ok - time to leave.
Thank god I have great friends. I don't usually have a tendency to mouth off to cops - but for whatever reason, it just seemed right.
The weekend was epic. The football team lost. God knows how many tickets were given out. Will this effect the University's reputation? I love university.

You're hilarious Gould. I'm glad you had a stellar weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat article and great weekend indeed. We lost the football game though, not lossed.
